Three Paths to a Brighter Future

Our 12-month apprenticeship program combines classroom education with real-world experience, preparing students for nationally recognized ASE certification.

Light Auto Mechanic

Learn general car safety, automobile parts installation and removal, breakdown services, and on-the-job training from ASE-certified professionals.

Diesel Mechanic

Learn general car safety, automobile parts installation and removal, breakdown services, and on-the-job training from ASE-certified professionals.

Auto Paint & Body Restoration

Master collision repair, body filler techniques, paint finishing, detailing, and automotive electrical wiring for complete auto body restoration.

Automotive Service Basics (D.I.Y)

Establish a light automotive repair program targeting
youth ages 16 to 24.
Still Bigg Brothers LLC is already training youths on introduction to light auto & diesel mechanics, and auto body painting and restoration. The goal is to expand that to be accessible to more students and establish a highly recognized, in demand program that produces artisans that are prepared to join the workforce and are desirable candidates.

Still Bigg Brothers LLC has been in business since 2006, repairing automobiles for major insurance companies, the City of Shreveport, the Water Department, Parks and Recreation, the Department of Transportation & Development, and the Shreveport Police.

Our well-qualified instructors have been in the automotive industry for over 20 years and bring a wealth of knowledge to provide students with the necessary tools to be successful. We partner with Southern University in Shreveport to offer our program in conjunction with existing programs targeting youth development.

The Team

Algernon “Bigg Al” Williams Sr. has been owning and operating Still Bigg LLC since 2006. Prior to becoming a business owner, he worked in the oil and gas industry as a light diesel mechanic for over 10 years. Al holds several federally regulated certifications in safety, equipment operation, and heavy-duty maintenance and repair. He is also Frac Tech H2S safety certified and 3M Collision certified.

Algernon Williams Jr. earned his certification in collision repair from Caddo Career Center in 2017 and has amassed numerous specialty certifications. His many years of experience and certificates cover general masking, body filler repair, paint finishing and detailing, collision materials, and automotive electrical wiring. Those are just a few of the job requirements in the autobody restoration field that he will be facilitating.

Anthony Williams has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, maintaining and servicing diesel-powered equipment. His certifications include installation and wiring technician, and service and repair of 25 kilowatt to 1500 kilowatt generators. He is also trained as an HVAC service technician II.
Anthony has been awarded in areas such as inventory control,
loss prevention and safety.
